On 13-15 April 2021, the Lithuanian city of Kaunas - 2022 European Capital of Culture will host the Second European Networking Meeting "Participatory governance and involvement of civil society in intercultural policy-making".


Networking members from 14 partner European countries and at least 60 representatives from Lithuania will debate participatory governance and involvement of civil society in the intercultural policy-making process from the initial idea to implementation.


Aims:


  • Promoting the advantages of the European diversity and the intercultural dialogue as tools to build more inclusive and fairer societies in European towns.
  • Debating strategies for diversity management and good practices, shared by the members of the European Network of Towns for Diversity Management and Protection of Minority and Migrant Rights.
  • Facilitating an open debate with the local Lithuanian citizens and involving them in the debate and sharing with the network members.
